Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds on the BookEase Pro platform, operated by Bhavna Infotech. This policy covers both platform subscription payments and individual booking payments processed through the platform.

By using BookEase Pro, you agree to the refund and cancellation terms described below.

2. Platform Subscription Refunds

2.1 Free Trial

  • All subscription plans include a free 14-day trial period.
  • No payment is charged during the trial period.
  • You may cancel your trial at any time without any charge.

2.2 Monthly Subscriptions

  • Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from your dashboard.
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • No prorated refunds are provided for partial months.
  • Refund requests for the current billing cycle must be made within 48 hours of the charge and are subject to review.

2.3 Annual Subscriptions

  • Annual subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Access continues until the end of the annual billing period.
  • Refunds for annual subscriptions are available within 30 days of the initial purchase if you are unsatisfied with the Service.
  • After 30 days, no refunds are issued for annual subscriptions. You may continue to use the Service until expiry.

2.4 Non-Refundable Scenarios (Subscriptions)

  • Account termination due to violation of Terms of Service.
  • Failure to cancel before automatic renewal.
  • Downgrade requests (the difference in plan cost is not refunded).

3. Booking Payment Refunds

3.1 Cancellation by Customer

  • Booking cancellations and refunds are subject to the cancellation policy set by each vendor on the platform.
  • Vendors may configure a free cancellation window (e.g., cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment for a full refund).
  • Vendors may set a cancellation fee (percentage of booking amount) for late cancellations.
  • Vendors may restrict cancellations within a certain period before the appointment (e.g., no cancellations within 2 hours of the appointment).
  • The specific cancellation terms are displayed during the booking process. Please review them carefully before confirming your booking.

3.2 Cancellation by Vendor

  • If a vendor cancels an appointment, customers are entitled to a full refund of any amount paid.
  • Refunds for vendor-initiated cancellations will be processed within 5-7 business days.

3.3 No-Show

  • If a customer fails to attend a booked appointment (no-show), the vendor's cancellation policy applies.
  • Most vendors do not offer refunds for no-shows. Please cancel in advance if you cannot attend.

3.4 Deposit Payments

  • Some services require a deposit payment at the time of booking.
  • Deposit refunds are governed by the vendor's cancellation policy.
  • The remaining balance is collected at the venue (via cash, UPI, or card).

4. Refund Process

4.1 Online Payments (Razorpay / Instamojo)

  • Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method via Razorpay or Instamojo.
  • Refund processing time: 5-7 business days from the date of approval.
  • Bank processing may take an additional 3-5 business days depending on your bank.
  • UPI refunds are typically processed within 24-48 hours.
  • Credit/debit card refunds may take up to 7-10 business days to reflect in your statement.

4.2 Cash Payments

  • Refunds for cash payments are handled directly by the vendor.
  • BookEase Pro does not process refunds for cash transactions.

4.3 UPI QR Payments

  • UPI QR payments made directly to the vendor's VPA (UPI ID) are refunded directly by the vendor.
  • BookEase Pro facilitates the QR code generation but does not handle the fund transfer for vendor-direct UPI payments.

5. How to Request a Refund

  1. Booking Refunds: Cancel your booking through the app or website. If eligible per the vendor's policy, the refund will be initiated automatically.
  2. Subscription Refunds: Contact our support team at support@bookeasepro.com with your account details and reason for the refund request.
  3. Disputes: If you believe a refund was incorrectly denied, contact us at support@bookeasepro.com and we will review your case within 5 business days.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation. We encourage you to contact our support team before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue promptly.
